Our prayer is that you would be blessed and strengthened by the power of Jesus Christ and that you will live a life of abundance in fellowship, joy and liberty. Mt. Zura is here for you. It is not a church. It is a fellowship of believers coming together to declare the glory of the Lord and celebrate Jesus as King. We study the Word, practice what we learn and in the process grow together. May God richly bless you!

Church Overview

Our Purpose

To build an authentic community of faith through evangelism, education, and empowerment to the glory of God.

Our Motto

“We’re going all the way with the Lord”

What We Believe:

THE SCRIPTURES | We believe the Scriptures are Inspired by God and declare His design and plan for mankind.

GOD | We believe there is only One True God-revealed in three persons…Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (commonly known as the Trinity).

JESUS CHRIST | We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. As God’s son Jesus was both human and divine.

FALL OF MAN | We believe though originally good, man willingly fell to sin-ushering evil and death, both physical and spiritual, into the world.

SALVATION | We believe every person can have restored fellowship with God through ‘salvation’ (accepting Christ’s offer of forgiveness for sin).

BAPTISM AND COMMUNION | We believe and practice two ordinances-(1) water baptism by immersion after repenting of one’s sins and receiving Christ’s gift of salvation, and (2) Holy communion (the Lord’s Supper) as a symbolic remembrance of Christ’s suffering and death for our salvation.

HOLY SPIRIT | The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right.

THE HOLY SPIRIT’S GIFTS | We believe that every Christian can be filled with the Holy Spirit and endowed with special gifts that help both minister to the Body of Christ and the lost. (These gifts are found in both Romans 12, and 1 Corinthians 12.)

Getting Involved at Mt. Zura

Mt. Zura is a church that, if you wanted to, you could slip in and slip out each weekend, and not be noticed. But we believe Jesus intended more for us as His church.

We know what God is doing here is special, and we want you to have a part in that. We want you to connect with the people you go to church with and build relationships and community.

At Mt. Zura, we don't stress partnership. We emphasize membership through participation. And there are several ways to join in with what we're doing here.
